Since winter break, I've been reading a chapter a day in my "professional book collection" to end my work day. Not only is it a good way to finish up books (I've already read 10 since January!), but it also gives me a routine to end my day when I work at home.
More and more my focus, although traditionally I have read a good mix of non-fiction too. As I age, the emotional value of stories becomes all the more important.
I am talking about non-fiction books that I buy for work purposes. I read fiction and recreational non-fiction regularly without a plan. I love reading! Are you a fiction reader as well, Thomas?

What a great practice, Clarissa!

Be well
:)
I assume you talking about non-fiction reading primarily here? Do you have the time or inclination to read fiction?

Love reading your articles. Scholastic book club is something I loved too during my school days. And for sure I am going to practice habit stacking.
Thanks, Vriti! I hope habit stacking works for you as well. :-)
I try to see books less as something to finish, more as places to visit. I say I try because I am programmed otherwise.
I like this framing, André!
What a great tip on how to move through our books more quickly, Loleen! Thanks for sharing this one with us!
I am so glad you liked it, Holly. Thanks for telling me that!
